1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of houseofqi.my and to enquiries, bookings, consultations and Traditional Chinese Medicine services offered under the House of Qi brand.

House of Qi is part of the Care Concierge family. References to “House of Qi”, “we”, “us” or “our” include My Care Concierge Sdn Bhd when it operates or supports House of Qi. “You” means the person using the website or receiving services, or a person authorised to act for them.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking or proceeding with a service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Additional terms communicated for a particular appointment, treatment, promotion or event also apply. If those additional terms conflict with these general terms, the specific terms will apply to that service.

2. Website information and wellbeing quiz

The content on this website is provided for general information. It is not a diagnosis, medical advice, emergency advice or a guarantee that a treatment will be suitable or effective for you.

Our wellbeing quiz and enquiry forms are designed to help you describe what you are experiencing and start a conversation with us. Results are indicative only. They do not replace a consultation, examination or diagnosis by a qualified practitioner or medical professional, and submitting a form does not confirm an appointment.

If you believe you have a medical emergency or a serious or rapidly worsening condition, contact the appropriate emergency service or seek urgent medical attention. Do not rely on this website to make an emergency decision.

We try to keep website content accurate and current, but information may occasionally be incomplete, unavailable or out of date. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice.

3. Consultations and practitioner-led care

Our practitioners assess your concerns and explain what treatment, if any, may be suitable from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Recommendations depend on the information available, the practitioner’s assessment and your individual circumstances. Outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.

TCM may complement appropriate medical care, but it does not replace medical diagnosis, prescribed treatment, rehabilitation or emergency care. We may recommend that you consult a doctor or another healthcare professional before proceeding, or decline or pause treatment where it may not be appropriate or safe.

Before treatment, your practitioner will explain relevant aspects of the proposed care and may ask for your informed consent. You may ask questions and may withdraw consent before or during a treatment, subject to any care already safely underway.

Services are provided by the practitioner identified for your appointment. If a practitioner is unavailable, we may offer to reschedule or arrange a suitable alternative.

4. Bookings, fees and cancellations

An appointment is confirmed only when House of Qi accepts the booking and sends or gives you confirmation. Availability shown or discussed before confirmation is not guaranteed.

Applicable fees, payment timing and any cancellation or rescheduling conditions will be explained before your booking is confirmed. You are responsible for checking those details and paying amounts due through the accepted payment method. Unless the law requires otherwise or we agree differently, completed services are not refundable.

Please arrive on time. If you are late, we may need to shorten or reschedule the appointment to avoid affecting other clients. If we must cancel or change an appointment, we will take reasonable steps to contact you and offer an appropriate alternative.

A promotion or voucher may have additional eligibility, validity and redemption terms. It cannot be exchanged for cash unless we expressly state otherwise.

5. Your responsibilities

To help us provide safe and appropriate care, you agree to:

  • give accurate, complete and current information about your concerns, medical history, medication, allergies, pregnancy and other relevant circumstances;
  • tell your practitioner promptly if anything changes or if you feel unwell during treatment;
  • follow reasonable safety, hygiene and conduct requirements while at House of Qi;
  • treat practitioners, team members and other visitors with respect; and
  • use our website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.

If you book or provide information for someone else, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the person understands the relevant information and consents where required.

We may refuse or stop a service where information is withheld, a safety concern arises, consent is absent, payment is not made, or behaviour is threatening, abusive, unlawful or seriously disruptive.

6. Intellectual property and acceptable use

The website, House of Qi name and logos, written content, photography, graphics and other materials are owned by or licensed to House of Qi, My Care Concierge Sdn Bhd or their licensors. You may view and use them for your personal, non-commercial information only.

Without prior written permission, you must not copy, republish, sell, modify or commercially exploit our materials, misuse our name or branding, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape the website at scale, or interfere with its operation.

Links to third-party services, including WhatsApp, Google Maps and social media, are provided for convenience. We do not control those services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, House of Qi and My Care Concierge Sdn Bhd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or from reliance on general website content.

We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us, failure to follow safety advice, events outside our reasonable control, or products and services provided independently by third parties. Any responsibility for practitioner-led services will be assessed according to the applicable law, professional duties and the facts of the matter.

8. General terms

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date. Changes apply from publication unless a different date is stated.

Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that right has been waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. We encourage you to contact us first so that any concern can be discussed and, where possible, resolved amicably. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
